We are genuinely excited to announce that starting now, you can use emoji in any field on Splitwise, including:
– Expense description (🍕 $20)
– Group names (Our 🏠)
– User names (Jane Doe 👽)
– Expense comments (“Thanks for the 🍷, see you soon!”)
– The group whiteboard (“OMG our apartment is haunted 👻”)
We 💖 you and that’s no joke.

It’s great to be able to use emoji, thanks for adding this.
I found an emoji bug though: in the iPhone app when you add a multiline comment and then switch keyboards to emoji, add an emoji and then switch back to normal keyboard, the “post” button disappears behind the keyboard.

I was unable to reproduce it on our in-office iPhone 5 (which is running iOS 10 at the moment). Which iPhone and OS are you using right now?
